Meta Blueprint: SME Appreciation Program 2024
Outline
Subject matter experts play a critical role in the exam development and maintenance process and in course and study material content review. Expertise in the functional area(s) and a comprehensive understanding of product and content contributes to the development of fair, valid, and reliable exams and up to date course content and study materials for the Meta Blueprint tracks. Translation review helps to ensure that the translation quality is up to standard, the context is correct, and the terminology used is appropriate for our industry.
The Blueprint team is very thankful for SMEs’ time and contributions and welcomes them to the 2024 SME Appreciation Program.

Here’s what SMEs have recently said about participating:
- I really enjoyed learning about the question writing process, best practices etc.
- I feel like I’m contributing to something greater when I contribute as an SME.
- I really enjoyed taking part, it was valuable to learn more about the process that goes into question writing - skills that I would have not learned in my role.
- As a Blueprint trainer it is good to have hands-on collaboration with these projects as we are on the front line with learners that are preparing for certification.
- I enjoyed that the work was done on our own time so it was easy to slot into my schedule.
- Just got my swag in the mail - thank you so much for the gifts and also for your time and dedication throughout the process! It was really so great working with you and the other SMEs!
